Redmi 10 Prime launched in India

Xiaomi-owned independent sub-brand Redmi continually expands its phone lineup this year, with the Redmi 10 Prime launched recently in India.


The Redmi 10 Prime is almost similar to the Redmi 10 released globally last month albeit a bigger battery capacity at 6000 mAh. It is also one of the first phones (along with Redmi 10) that is powered by the new MediaTek Helio G88 processor, an upgrade to the Helio G85 released last year. Other specs are listed below:

The Redmi 10 Prime will be available for sale in India starting September 7 through Mi Store. Price starts at INR12,499 or roughly PHP8,500 for the 4GB/64GB version. No word yet if this will also be released globally or an India-exclusive variant.
